McConnell, Republicans and Tax Cuts I'd add something... posted by: simplicissimus 12:35 7.14.10 but klein -- when he says this makes him sad -- really puts it best. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/ezra-klein/2010/07/mcconnell_no_evidence_whatsoev.html hb, am i missing something? or is the majority leader pushing an objectively false over-arching econommic theory? and, most importantly, am i wrong in being terrified that the de facto leader of one of the major political parties apparently actually believes this? i mean this isn't one of those little lies the parties push (abstinence-only education works, set-asides help minority businesses). it's one -- that if followed through on -- could push us much, much further towards insolvency.
